The RC F was featured on PBS's Motorweek. They panned the brakes after a few laps on a track. This is the first knock I've heard of on the RC F brakes. Does anyone have any further info or comment from experience?[???:)]
The Ultrasonic blue is a fantastic color. I tried to get that color, but there were none available how I wanted it configured, so I got Obsidian instead. I do NOT like the red interior, however. But to each, his/her own. [:)]
Agree about the modding temptation. There is not a lot you can do with the RC F engine. We'll probably see headers and intake for it and that'll be about it. No one has cracked a Toyota ecu although some folks were running spray with the IS-F.
Drove 80 miles home from the dealer on the interstate. I was surprised how quiet it is. Unless you exceed 3500 rpm (5000 was as high as I pushed it), it's pretty silent in the cabin. Feels very solid. The technology is going to be a learning curve.
