Lexus unveiled the new GS F performance sedan Tuesday at the North American International Auto Show, a car that offers innovative technology, an emotional exterior design and engaging driving dynamics.
The GS F is the latest vehicle to join Lexus' high-performance "F" line as a balanced sedan with genuine dual personality, equally adept at trimming lap times and the commute back home.
The Lexus exhibit also shows the RC F, which premiered in Detroit last year and went on sale in November.
Lexus will drop its 476-horsepower 5.0-liter V8 into the GS F and links it with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Other performance upgrades to the GS F include structural reinforcements for a stiffer body for high-speed maneuvering. A torque vectoring differential will direct traction between the rear wheels for the desired level of comfort or performance. Staggered-size 19-inch tires will be standard.
